Bassett, VA - Lynnie Doughton, Chief Steward of DRP Performance Products, Inc. today announced the acquisition of the Accu-Force Spring Smasher® product line from Accu-Force Dynos & Testers of Millersburg, OH. The product line includes the popular Standard II and Automated Touch Screen Spring Smasher models, along with the Gen II Spring Loader.
Regarding the acquisition Doughton stated "Accu-Force Spring Smashers® are a natural fit with our set-up equipment product lines. Bringing a respected brand like Accu-Force into the DRP family was an awesome opportunity. Keith (Berner) has done an incredible job of developing a first-class piece of equipment and backing it up with customer-focused service. We are excited to build on the work that Keith has done and help even more teams find speed through better set-up."
Berner said: "As I have been planning for the continuation of the business and our Accu-Force Spring Smasher® product line for the future, DRP Performance Products seemed like a natural fit as they are in the race suspension testing business." Berner continued, "It has been very important to me that our existing customers be taken care of going forward. Lynnie and his team are committed to providing the service our customers have come to expect."
Both companies are working together to make this a successful transition for existing Accu-Force Spring Smasher® customers and dealers, as well as new customers. To assist in this, Berner will remain actively involved with the DRP team as they move through this transition.

The DRP Performance Products team will have Accu-Force Spring Smashers® in their booth (2125) at the PRI Trade Show in Indy, December 7-9. Berner will be joining the DRP team at PRI.
Accu-Force Dynos & Testers will rebrand as AfterBurner Performance and will remain under Berner's ownership in Millersburg, OH. The newly branded company will continue to offer the Torsion Bar Dyno, High-Torque Shock Dyno, and Fill Machine to customers. The shock service portion of the business will continue under the new company as well. Consulting, chassis setup, on track testing with data acquisition, and chassis analysis through its pull-down rig, will also continue to be offered through AfterBurner Performance.
